Greeting card.
When I painted this I was thinking about the symbolism used in Renaissance art, especially in relation to the virgin Mary. I wanted to apply some of those ideas to a modern version where the Madonna worships the wealth and power which come from her position as CEO. Is it possible to be in a position of power and still be honest, caring, have empathy and integrity?
